Prices shown come from each yard's own public website or price page and from free public market benchmarks (such as COMEX copper). They may be out of date or wrong, and what a yard pays depends on grade, cleanliness, and volume. Always call the yard before you haul. Nothing here is an offer to buy, a quote, or financial or trading advice.
Got Scrap Metals is independent and is not part of, paid by, or endorsed by any yard listed unless a listing is clearly marked “Sponsored.” Yard names belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
Yard owners can ask us to correct or remove their prices or listing at hello@unfinishedop.com. We act on requests within 7 days.
You can use the site for your own decisions. Please don't bulk-copy or resell the compiled price tables.
The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from decisions made using it.
Got Scrap Metals is run by Steven Vige, Texas, USA. These pages are plain-English operating rules, not legal advice, and have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
